As the Chief Solutions Officer and a Partner at Kite Technology Group, Jason Gobbel specializes in helping independent insurance agencies adopt and optimize technology that drives efficiency, security, and long-term growth.
Jason began his career at a large independent agency in Baltimore, MD, gaining seven years of experience with industry operations, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements such as GLB and HIPAA. During this time, he held a Maryland Property and Casualty Producer license and earned certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional and CompTIA Security+.
For the past fifteen years, he has worked with Kite Technology Group, supporting independent insurance agencies nationwide with regulatory standards like NAIC and NY 23 NYCRR 500 DFS and guiding them through major technology changes including cloud adoption, modern security, remote work, and the growing use of artificial intelligence.
Jason is also deeply committed to education within the insurance community. He regularly teaches and presents at regional and national industry conferences such as Applied Net, NetVU Accelerate, and Big I conventions, where he shares practical guidance on technology strategy, security, and operational best practices.
Today, Jason works closely with agencies nationwide to develop technology strategies that strengthen security, streamline processes, and position them for the future. He lives in Arizona, manages his team remotely, and continues to maintain his Property and Casualty Producer license. Jason’s unique blend of insurance, technology, and AI expertise enables agencies to stay ahead of change and thrive in a digital environment.
