John Buckley

John P. Buckley, JD, CPCU, ARe is Senior Vice President of Claims at Western National Mutual Insurance Company, where he leads claims strategy and operations. With more than 35 years of experience in insurance and law, John began his career in claims at Hartford Insurance Company before practicing as a trial attorney and later joining Western National in 1995. Over the past three decades, he has held progressive leadership roles spanning legal services and casualty claims.
A cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, John holds CPCU and Are designations and is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is an active industry leader, frequent national speaker on complex coverage and claims issues, and serves in leadership roles with the Insurance Federation of Minnesota.
