Originally from rural Minnesota, Lena’s resilience journey began early following a Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis at age eight—an experience that fueled her passion for growth and empathy. When she’s not on stage or consulting, Lena enjoys fishing, camping, community theater, and exploring back roads on her husband Don’s motorcycle. Whether she’s speaking, teaching, or cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, Lena’s zest for life shines through as she helps audiences create confidence, resilience, and positive change.
