Christian Hansen
Christian Hansen is a Kaplan Insurance Instructor that was born into the industry. Originally, from the Jersey Shore, he grew up in and around his grandfather’s independent agency which later became his father’s agency. After college, Chris got a job in his father’s agency starting as the receptionist. After getting licensed in 1996, he then moved on to personal lines CSR, commercial lines CSR, and then commercial lines producer until the agency merged with another prominent agency. Chris worked as a producer for the new agency until he moved to Minnesota where he worked for several independent agencies as a commercial lines CSR, producer, and commercial marketing manager until he quit his job to open his own insurance agency from scratch. After several years, Chris sold his agency and joined Kaplan as an instructor. To date, Chris has earned his licensure in Property, Casualty, Accident & Health, Life, Series 6 and Series 63. He obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation with the National Alliance in 2013.

- Park in parking ramp adjacent to the buildings
- Level C is the walkway inside to both towers
- The training room is in the lower level of the 601 tower.
- Go past the 701 tower to the open rotunda and down the stairs in the rotunda to the left, you will see a sign.
- The training room is LL20.

Attendance Requirement:
Full attendance is required for the entire week-long Property & Casualty Insurance Prelicensing Course in order to sit for the exam.
Students must attend all scheduled instructional hours. If any portion of the required attendance is missed, completion credit cannot be issued for the course. To receive credit for any missed portion, the student will be required to complete the entire corresponding online prelicensing course, rather than only the hours missed.
Please plan accordingly and ensure you are available for the full duration of the course each day
