BIO:
Gloria Thompson began her career in the insurance industry over 40 years ago and obtained her insurance agent's license in 1984. She earned her CIC designation in 2000. Gloria is currently employed by North Risk Partners as a Risk Advisor and enjoys the opportunities she has to mentor and collaborate with her fellow agents. Gloria's passion for education and public speaking aligned her with the opportunity to instruct insurance courses. She has taught courses for several organizations, including the National Alliance's CISR program and Kaplan Professional Schools, as well as specific specialty topics written by her and presented at the MIIAB conventions. Gloria is a past board member for the National Alliance's CISR Board of Governors. Through her service on the Board of Governors she gained in depth knowledge of the CISR program, and watched the program evolve over her six years of service.Currently, Gloria serves as the Education Chair for the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers, which serves as the oversight committee for the National Alliance's continuing education programs in Minnesota. Gloria appreciates the opportunities for mentoring, networking, and involvement in the insurance industry that these organizations provide. She is also a member of the Twin Cities Insurance Club and has been a guest speaker for various insurance topics for the organization over the years. She was named Agent of the Year by the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers in 2014. Dan Riley, CEO of the association said, "Her professional experiences and her vast knowledge of the business have helped thousands of Minnesota agents become the best insurance professionals in the country." Gloria completed her Educational Consultant training with the National Alliance in May of 2017, and now serves in that role on behalf of the MIIAB for Minnesota CIC and Rubles educational programs.

David Medvidofsky

BIO:
Dave Medvidofsky retired early after more than 31 years of service with Main Street America Insurance (MSA), a Jacksonville, FL-based property-casualty carrier. Dave was most recently Senior Vice President of Product Operations where he was responsible for leading all insurance product, underwriting, administration, and operations functions including profit & loss accountability and employee/customer engagement within personal lines, commercial lines, commercial agriculture, bonds, and the assumed reinsurance portfolio.
During his tenure with MSA he led multiple insurance company functions including Human Resources, Training & Development, Corporate Communications, Internal Audit, Corporate Strategy, Operations, and Facilities/Administrative Services. He also held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, product development, and underwriting. He brought a practitioner mindset into his company roles having begun his insurance career on the agency side.
Dave has served on numerous industry and community boards and committees. He is a past President and Chair of the CPCU Society (2013) and is currently a board member for the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance. He proudly serves on the board of Pine Castle, Inc., a Jacksonville, FL non-profit that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental differences through opportunities to learn, work and connect. In addition to his board roles, Dave enjoys coaching emerging leaders.
Dave earned a master’s degree in leadership and a bachelor’s in business management from Franklin Pierce University. He earned his CIC designation in 1992 and his CRM designation in 2008. He also holds the CPCU, ARM, AAI, and AIAF designations.

Bill Reedy

BIO:
Bill Reedy is President of Performance Partners, an insurance and professional skill training and consulting company located in Leland, North Carolina. Bill's special interests lie in Commercial Property, Commercial Casualty and Agency-Company relations. He is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. Bill has conducted agency training sessions since 1994. He is a CIC National Faculty member and has been teaching for The National Alliance since 2015 having earned his CIC designation in 1992. Bill has instructed in several states over a wide range of insurance topics. Previously, Bill was a Personal and Commercial Lines Underwriter and Marketing Manager for Westfield Group, Westfield Center, OH. Bill also served as Manager of Commercial Lines Training Delivery and was responsible for the Commercial Lines Graduate Development Program. Bill also managed the TAPP program for new producer training at Westfield Insurance. He has also served on the Commercial Lines P&C Licensing Review committee for the Ohio Department of Insurance. Currently, Bill serves as an instructor with the Insurance Company Operations and Commercial Property for the National Alliance. Bill is an advocate for continuous learning and The National Alliance programs. His company and industry experience along with his presentation ability combine to add value and enhance the knowledge, and performance of fellow insurance professionals.
