BIO:
Deb Cerny is a Senior Risk Advisor with North Risk Partners, C.O. Brown division in their Mankato branch. She has held this position since 1999. Her book of business includes a broad mix of commercial, personal and benefits accounts. In addition to her sales position, she also served as NRP's southern division personal lines lead. In this capacity, she assisted management in personal lines market alignment and strategy as well as the education and training of the personal lines sales and service staff.
Deb is an insurance industry "lifer", and her career has spanned four decades. She has been involved with MIIAB on the state level, serving as chairman of the Young Agents Committee and the Insurance Youth Golf Classic. Deb earned her CISR designation 1989 and her CIC designation in 1996. Also, in 1996, the National Alliance (now known as the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance) named Deb Minnesota's Outstanding Customer Service Representative, and she was among four finalists for the national award. Deb is currently working toward earning the Certified Personal Risk Manager designation.
