BIO:
Elizabeth Rise began her insurance career in 1975 as an agent for the Burd and Rise Insurance Agency of Halstad, MN. Elizabeth and her husband, Harlan, owned and managed the agency until their retirement at the end of 2008. She is a member of the National Faculty of the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance, instructing at numerous CIC institutes, CISR courses, and Dynamics of Service courses around the country.
Elizabeth has served as president of the Board of Governors of the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR) at The Alliance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Mayville State University, Mayville, ND. Liz received her CIC designation in 1977.
Elizabeth and Harlan reside in Melbourne Beach, FL, and Miltona, MN. The couple has two daughters and Elizabeth is active in her church and community organizations.
