Webinar Tech Tips (Bootcamp, CIC, CISR)

As we prepare for our upcoming BIG I Minnesota webinar courses, we want to provide you with crucial details to ensure a smooth and enriching experience. Please take note of the following information:

CIC and CISR Specifics: For CIC courses, two separate links are provided for each day. For CISR courses, a single link is provided. You will be receiving links for the webinar almost 3 days prior to the course.

Webinar Structure: Attendees will not have the ability to speak during the webinar; however, you can use the ‘Chat’ feature for interactive sessions.

Bootcamp Webinar Structure: We do encourage an open dialog with audio and video activated during the Bootcamp Sessions.  

Attendance verification polls will be displayed on your screen three times per hour for CIC and CISR courses and two times per hour for other CE approved courses. To meet the compliance requirements for Continuing Education (CE), it's essential to participate in all polls during the webinar. In the event of technical difficulties preventing, you from accessing or responding to a poll, please send an email to asaleem@bigimn.org. While we may not immediately detect a missed poll, if you believe you've missed one, promptly respond via chat or email to provide us with the necessary information for verification purposes. Your proactive communication ensures we have the documentation needed to address any concerns related to poll participation.

Login Information (Note: You do not need to have a Zoom account to log in to the webinar)On the day of the webinar, use the link provided in your confirmation email provided to you via zoom three days prior to access the Zoom webinar. Click the link a few minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a prompt entry. Log in using your first and last name along with the email address you used for registration with BIG I MN.

Access to Documents and Links:  Attendees will have access to downloadable documents and links shared during the webinar under the resources tab available on the bottom of your screen.

Chat Box Usage:  Utilize the chat box for any questions you may have. Please note that responses should be sent privately to maintain confidentiality. Zoom provides helpful resources and tutorials on their website, such as:  Chat & Q&A: https://youtu.be/zIrbcsyDhOk

Technical Requirements:

  • Ensure you are not using a VPN or hosted environment to avoid connectivity issues.
  • Make sure your internet is Hardwired to avoid any disruptions.
